For any of you in the IRC chat on SystemNet by the name of #glacidia, you guys probably already know this.

Guys, I'm scared. Scared beyond all belief and complexity. As you guys know, I have an extremely good best friend named Geoffrey, on this site as . Something good didn't happen though... was in a car accident...

I just found this today right after church at 6 PM CST. I was scared and still am scared. I've been crying nearly all day and been going crazy. The biggest problem is is that I don't know much about the crash. All I know is that Geoffrey's hands are cut up (probably from the glass) and his pelvis has been damaged terribly.

I don't know much else, which is the worst part. I don't know whether the car flipped or it was a head-on collision or what. I'm just scared and afraid he won't make it... Please everyone, keep Geoffrey in your prayers and if you have any questions, don't hesitate. Please be mature and respectful about the situation and keep him in your prayers. Please. Thank you guys so much.

EDIT: Found out his pelvis is badly fractured. He's in the ICU and is sedated right now. He needs a special surgeon for work on his pelvis and might have to wait to have surgery until Monday. What I'm scared about right now is that he won't be able to walk anymore... But I am doing my best to stay optimistic and pray that he'll be okay. I'll keep you guys updated. I'm not going to bed anytime soon. I almost feel like I'm actually in the hospital, waiting... it's just that it looks a lot like my room.

EDIT2: I woke up this morning and got to talk to him. He sounds terrible, but probably because he's been on drugs for so freaking long. Anyways, apparently he doesn't need surgery, which is good. Dunno how his pelvis is gonna heal then. He explained to me about the crash, but I couldn't really understand him, but I didn't ask again because I didn't want to stress him. I swear, I nearly cried on the phone. I also found out about his driving instructor. He was hurt too, but not as banged up as Geoff. Still, I think now that he's going to make it. He just needs to rest and then get some rehabilitation done so he can walk again.

EDIT3: Just recieved another call from him. He says he's feeling better. Maybe not by a lot, but better. He says he's not in as much pain. Still guys, keep him in your prayers so that he heals well and correctly. And hopefully he can rehabilitate so he can walk again.

EDIT4: Have been Skyping with him today. I've found out more. Apparently, a car ran a light and hit the car Geoffrey was in. Also, he felt terrible pain when he was having surgery on his hand. The doctor didn't give him enough medicine and he could feel everything while his hands were being stitched and stapled, which sounds absolutely awful. He couldn't even cry or scream. There was nothing he could do. He's having trouble breathing every so often and has to wear a gas mask. He's still in the ICU, and he MIGHT need surgery (I swear, when will the doctors make up their minds?). He hasn't been able to eat/drink much. Apparently he's not enjoying the jello too much. I still think he should be resting instead of trying to use his computer with the shape his hands are in. Also, here he is, apparently feeling better: [link]

EDIT5: God, I must have you guys worried for not updating. Anyways, he didn't need surgery on his pelvis, and he's in rehab now. Went to rehab one day, then had to go back to the hospital for a blood transfusion. >_> SERIOUSLY? THEY FORGOT A BLOOD TRANSFUSION FOR SOMEONE IN A CAR ACCIDENT? *sigh* Whatever. Idiots. Anyways, he walked last week, but with a walker, but I'm still very proud of him. He's gotten his voice back and he's not as pale anymore, but he's been suffering a lot of flash fevers recently. He's starting to feel a lot better though, and he was watching Robot Chicken last night. And apparently he's the only 20 year old in rehab. The rest are just a bunch of old farts. Poor guy feels out of place. I'm still pissed about the woman who jumped the light though. And... I'd mention one thing his medicine did to him but it's not exactly pleasant to know. Will update if any more major news comes up. Damn, have I updated this journal entry more than any other or what? XD

EDIT6: He's going home tomorrow! I'm so happy for him! ^^ We now both have Explorers of Sky and today (10/14/09) in general has been good (besides that I had to take the PSAT today) Still, I'm very happy Geoffrey's getting out now. He can't walk without a walker yet, but he can get it himself now and such. Hope he'll be okay. I'm just happy he'll be home soon, which is what he wants more than anything.

EDIT7: STOP EDITING JORDAN. Anyways, he got a follow up today on his leg. It seems that his pelvis is healing really well and he can put more pressure on it. But his brother of his is being an ass to him even though he's crippled. :/ Siblings - we'll always hate 'em. His hematoma (pocket of blood in his hip) is still hurting and bugging him a bit, but I've noticed the pain is lessening and occuring less often, which is good. Hope that his leg will heal quicker than it already is, but properly at the same time.

EDIT8: He walked today on his own without the walker. He can walk for about 5-10 minutes on his own, but not for too long. That's still good though. He'll be doing more therapy soon since he had his follow up recently.
